School Meals
All children in Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to universal free school meals.
Our school dinners are prepared and cooked by our fantastic kitchen staff, on site in our school kitchen. A vegetarian option is also available for those children who require it, just speak to a member of staff in the office and they will update your child’s information. We can also cater for children with special dietary needs or allergies. We aim to ensure that all children have access to healthy school meals regardless of any special dietary requirements.
All of the Nottinghamshire County Council menus fully comply with food standards on nutrition and portion size. They contain at least two portions of fruit or vegetables per meal and every meal is served with vegetables and/or salad as standard.

Free School Meals for Infants
Healthy Eating
We encourage all our children to eat healthily and ask that you send only fruit or vegetables as a playtime snack for Juniors. Fruit is provided free of charge for children in Foundation and Infants.
We also encourage healthy lunchboxes - please support us by not sending sweets or fizzy drinks.
We ask that the children bring a water bottle every day to use in the classroom and they can refill these during the day if needed. Please support us by not sending juice in children's water bottles as this is a whole school policy.
Nut Free School
We do have children in school with severe nut allergies, therefore we are a completely nut free school. Please do not to send children with any food containing nuts or sesame.
Please be particularly careful when preparing packed lunches and check the labels of items such as cereal bars, houmous, or some granary breads.
Thank you for your understanding.
