Reflection – Lady Bay votes

After the assembly, all the children in Key Stage 2 had the chance to vote. They were all given information from all the local candidates and we asked the children to imagine who they would want in charge of Rushcliffe. We set up a ballot in the hall and the children voted like they would if they were able to. It was a really interested process for the children and an enriching way to teach democracy and our British Values. Thank you to the year 6 children and the School Council for supporting with this.
