Enjoyment - Quadkids Athletics event

A note from Ms Davie - What a super group of children to take to an event!

They all took part in 2 individual track events and 2 individual field events: a 50m sprint and a 400m run (on a real running track!) followed by the javelin and a long jump (into a sand pit) .

The event finished with two team relay races on the track with batons. A memorable experience for them all. All of the children competed with determination and enthusiasm and it was lovely when a teacher from another school complimented them on the way they encouraged each other. Thank you to Ms Davie for taking the children and to the parents for supporting the event.
