The children in year 1 were very excited to start their English topic this week. They have been looking at the Supertato books and thinking about the different characters within the books. They created their own super vegetables and drew pictures of them. Then, they created their own stories with their super vegetables. It is always a super topic and one that engages the children in year 1. Additionally, they are all very excited for their author visit on Monday 24^th June. We are delighted to welcome Paul Linnet (author of the Supertato books) back into school to inspire the children in their English work.
