Determination and Enjoyment – Year 6 Topic launch

We are working really hard in school to try to ensure that all English topics have a hook that makes the children really interested in what they are going to be learning about and want to produce a fantastic piece of writing about it.  We have had some super hooks recently. To launch their writing topic about ‘What the Maya have done for us’ they did a chocolate tasting session and the children gave them a taste rating.
